Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, a fossil fuel billionare from the United Arab Emerites decided to flaunt his wealth by having his name carved into a beach on his private island. The letters are thought to be the largest ever created and can be seen from space!

On the positive side at least this disgustingly ostentatious display of wealth is not producing co2 on a continuing basis. Of course on the other hand think of all the positive things that could have been done with the money that was used to produce this! Of course that fact that it was created with money made by burning fossil fuels will have our kids and grandchildren forever looking at Mr. Hamad as a poster child for the arrogant and thoughtless Fossil Fuel Man!
Perhaps when CO2 hits 400 ppm we should write a big 400 under his name!
