It is only fitting that this be the first EEM sighting. This is a picture of a Newburyport SEED Coffee meeting. SEED stands for Seacoast Energy and Environmental Design coalition. SEED's mission is to make Newburyport known as a green place to live, work, and play. The group has over 250 members all interested in learning from each other, networking to bring green business (and business practices) into the Greater Newburyport Area and building environmental awareness thoughout the community. SEED is also in many respects responsible for the creation of the Fossil Fuel Man Challenge. In case you are wondering, Newburyport is located in northern Massachusetts (USA)on the coast.
